After 6 minutes, Nicolas Decloedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Team Vellie and the Koningshooikt players grew even worse after the yellow card. The attack was good, but when Bob Weygaers in the 9th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After recieving a nice pass, Team Vellie's Yanniek Van Bettenrode tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Koningshooikt 's goal looked a bit too open when Gregoire Rauvoets came free, but Pierre-Olivier Portmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Team Vellie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arno Lambrechts to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregoire Rauvoets in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierre-Olivier Portmans saved Koningshooikt from getting behind. The supporters of Team Vellie booed when Koningshooikt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Conincx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bob Weygaers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Pierre-Olivier Portmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gregoire Rauvoets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Mattijs Godefroid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the game, Bob Weygaers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pierre-Olivier Portmans. Bob Weygaers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Gregoire Rauvoets recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laurenz Roockeloes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Thobias De Vorster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Nicolas Decloedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
