Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Mattijs Godefroid made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the game, X-Sjans's Timy Goolen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pierre-Olivier Portmans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Timy Goolen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 9th minute, Koningshooikt 's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Timy Goolen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Robbe Van den Inde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurenz Roockeloes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Giovanni Leenders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timy Goolen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giovanni Leenders didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mattijs Godefroid went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Robbe Van den Inde came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the X-Sjans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robbe Van den Inde couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Laurenz Roockeloes sped through X-Sjans's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giovanni Leenders. Koningshooikt 's Pierre-Olivier Portmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbe Van den Inde in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robbe Van den Inde made a kick off. Mattijs Godefroid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pierre-Olivier Portmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbe Van den Inde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Timy Goolen notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Koningshooikt 's Pierre-Olivier Portmans. Pierre-Olivier Portmans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laurenz Roockeloes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ludwig Provoost fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Koningshooikt 's protests and gave Ludwig Provoost a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Koningshooikt got a freekick which was hit by Ludwig Provoost. Timy Goolen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Olivier Portmans having to interfere. Timy Goolen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Pierre-Olivier Portmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurenz Roockeloes got free with Giovanni Leenders in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Laurenz Roockeloes could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Giovanni Leenders however easily saved by the left post. Mattijs Godefroid might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giovanni Leenders. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mattijs Godefroid ran back to his position shaking his head. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
