Lieven Van Latem's late challenge caught a RSC Gottignies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lieven Van Latem helped the player get up and apologised. 96 minutes into the game, one of FC Tienen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tommie Gijselinckx shot the penalty kick right outside the post. There was no doubt that FC Tienen were the better team. FC Tienen's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
