Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adolf De Swert started the match with the kick off. Club MichÆl's Frits Wirinckx got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frits Wirinckx in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolf Van Haerschot saved RSC Adegem from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luk Van de Poel during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, RSC Adegem's Luk Van de Poel got a free kick in the 13th minute. Adolf De Swert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Adolf Van Haerschot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ewout Verlinden fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RSC Adegem's protests and gave Ewout Verlinden a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, RSC Adegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ewout Verlinden to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Club MichÆl getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Loid Smolders hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in RSC Adegem's zone, Frits Wirinckx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolf Van Haerschot came out of the goal and Frits Wirinckx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 31 played minutes RSC Adegem got a freekick which was hit by Axel van haeve. Adolf Van Haerschot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolf De Swert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Mark Gijselinx dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Quentin Klopterop, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luk Van de Poel made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, RSC Adegem's goalkeeper Adolf Van Haerschot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frits Wirinckx. In the 56th minute of the match Lode De Keijsere shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quentin Klopterop showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Frits Wirinckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Parmentier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Quentin Klopterop. Club MichÆl's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Gijselinx in the 70th minute of play forced Club MichÆl's goalkeeper Quentin Klopterop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frits Wirinckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolf Van Haerschot having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Luk Van de Poel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Quentin Klopterop. Club MichÆl's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luk Van de Poel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 77 minutes into the match, Club MichÆl's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Gijselinx came free, but Quentin Klopterop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luk Van de Poel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolf De Swert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Gijselinx in the 91st minute of play forced Club MichÆl's goalkeeper Quentin Klopterop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mark Gijselinx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Gijselinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, RSC Adegem could leave the field as winners, despite Club MichÆl having more of the ball for most of the match.
