Adolf Van Haerschot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Van den Broeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Luk Van de Poel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jerom Maerschalckx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34thth minute of the game Luk Van de Poel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but royal antwerp fc's Jerom Maerschalckx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Luk Van de Poel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The wind increased when Ben Van den Broeck made the kick off in the second half. If Regis Wigers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ben Van den Broeck in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolf Van Haerschot saved RSC Adegem from getting behind. Mark Gijselinx struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jerom Maerschalckx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. When Stephen Van der Veeken, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 90 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Adolf Van Haerschot was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
