After having played for 6 minutes, Mathieu-Maxim Denturck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KSV Vaucelles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathieu-Maxim Denturck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9thth minute of the game Dimitri Borginions who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verrebeke's Glen Vissenaekens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 minutes, Joost Van Looy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Verrebeke and the KSV Vaucelles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joost Van Looy kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Roy Loos kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Fernand de Reyck made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Cederique Van de Goor sent off a good shot on target. Glen Vissenaekens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu-Maxim Denturck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Roy Loos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KSV Vaucelles's Mathieu-Maxim Denturck got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 25 minutes, Mathieu-Maxim Denturck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cederique Van de Goor got free with Fernand de Reyck in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Dimitri Borginions had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Glen Vissenaekens. Verrebeke's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitri Borginions was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Glen Vissenaekens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathieu-Maxim Denturck in the 31st minute of the match. Dimitri Borginions's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glen Vissenaekens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitri Borginions in the 47th minute of play forced Verrebeke's goalkeeper Glen Vissenaekens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitri Borginions in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glen Vissenaekens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Glen Vissenaekens came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by KSV Vaucelles's Dimitri Borginions. But to his dismay, Dimitri Borginions quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 63rd match minute, Verrebeke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cederic Kerkhofs to maneuver through the defense. Glen Vissenaekens was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lex De Backer. If Mathieu-Maxim Denturck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimitri Borginions received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Glen Vissenaekens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Wuets's late challenge caught a KSV Vaucelles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Wuets helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of KSV Vaucelles booed when Verrebeke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Wuets didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Sylvan Boumans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dimitri Borginions had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KSV Vaucelles's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
