Tommy Van Hespen came out of the goal and Dimitri Borginions tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Van Hespen made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Dimitri Borginions sent off a good shot on target. Mats De Kepper's late challenge caught a KSV Vaucelles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mats De Kepper helped the player get up and apologised. Mats De Kepper kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Lex De Backer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Schaatsertje's Tommy Van Hespen didn't even have to move. 80 minutes into the match, FC Schaatsertje's goal looked a bit too open when Mathieu-Maxim Denturck came free, but Tommy Van Hespen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC Schaatsertje's Tommy Van Hespen got control of the ball when Dimitri Borginions tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Mathieu-Maxim Denturck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. FC Schaatsertje's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitri Borginions was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. KSV Vaucelles's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
