Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Steven Vollens took the kick off in the first half of the match. Samuel Van den Enden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Duchateau in the 3rd minute of play. Leopold Laureys kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Cedrik Leenknecht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Vollens, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Gerrit Waeberghe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedrik Leenknecht having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Bass Storms got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Jean-Louis Van de Gaer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bass Storms struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Samuel Van den Enden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Breemeers. Steven Vollens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedrik Leenknecht having to interfere. Cedrik Leenknecht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerrit Waeberghe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, KFC Breemeers's Tomas Klaes got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Gerrit Waeberghe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cedrik Leenknecht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Vollens in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Jean-Louis Van de Gaer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Zymotic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Breemeers the free kick. Jean-Louis Van de Gaer hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, KFC Breemeers's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Vollens came free, but Cedrik Leenknecht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Duchateau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jeremey Ingelbert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cedrik Leenknecht having to make a save. In the 54thth minute of the game Steven Vollens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Breemeers's Cedrik Leenknecht was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernand Kerckmans's late challenge caught a FC Zymotic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernand Kerckmans helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, KFC Breemeers's Fernand Kerckmans got a free kick in the 55th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Zymotic's Steven Vollens slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cedrik Leenknecht. That made the score 0-1 after 56 minutes of play. 61 minutes into the game, Angelo Duchateau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Samuel Van den Enden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Duchateau in the 68th minute of play forced FC Zymotic's goalkeeper Samuel Van den Enden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Duchateau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cedrik Leenknecht made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Gerrit Waeberghe sent off a good shot on target. Steven Vollens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cedrik Leenknecht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steven Vollens was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gerrit Waeberghe took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cedrik Leenknecht. Cedrik Leenknecht dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The FC Zymotic players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
