A collision led to Tellin getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Rudi Cantillon hit a great ball. If Bass Storms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 37 minutes, Bass Storms managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Breemeers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bass Storms was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tellin's zone, Angelo Duchateau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Huyghebaert came out of the goal and Angelo Duchateau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Breemeers's goalkeeper Cedrik Leenknecht, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute of the match, Lenny Verdonk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cedrik Leenknecht saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, KFC Breemeers's Fernand Kerckmans got a free kick in the 88th minute. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by KFC Breemeers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rudi Cantillon was slow to take the kick. During this time Tellin's players had a chance to rest. If Lenny Verdonk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. Cedrik Leenknecht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Tellin players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented KFC Breemeers from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
