Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 6th minute Gerrit Waeberghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Van Deinze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bill Vanbuyten took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sam Van Deinze. Schrikhoek's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Zymotic's Samuel Van den Enden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save FC Zymotic from getting a goal against them. If Steven Vollens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Schrikhoek booed when FC Zymotic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremey Ingelbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Zymotic's Samuel Van den Enden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save FC Zymotic from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd match minute, FC Zymotic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremey Ingelbert to maneuver through the defense. If Glenn Van Meensel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes, Rein Denys made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Zymotic's Samuel Van den Enden tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Zymotic's goalkeeper Samuel Van den Enden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 41 minutes, Robert Soens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Schrikhoek and the FC Zymotic players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Schrikhoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Soens to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Zymotic booed when Schrikhoek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rein Denys didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steven Vollens was the one to do the kick off. FC Zymotic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Vollens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Glenn Van Meensel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Van den Enden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rein Denys's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 68th match minute, FC Zymotic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopold Laureys to maneuver through the defense. Mattheo Vercouteren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Van den Enden came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Schrikhoek's Rein Denys. But to his dismay, Rein Denys quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to FC Zymotic getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jeremey Ingelbert hit a great ball. Glenn Van Meensel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Samuel Van den Enden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rein Denys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Glenn Van Meensel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Robert Soens came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Schrikhoek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Soens couldn't finish the play. Samuel Van den Enden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rein Denys in the 91st minute of the match. Rein Denys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Samuel Van den Enden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
