Steven Vollens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jorn Vissenaeken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Steven Vollens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jorn Vissenaeken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerrit Waeberghe in the 42nd minute of play forced Real Kessel FC's goalkeeper Jorn Vissenaeken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Steven Vollens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Steven Vollens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorn Vissenaeken having to interfere. Jorn Vissenaeken made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Gerrit Waeberghe sent off a good shot on target. After 73 minutes, Gilian Sproten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Kessel FC and the FC Zymotic players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Real Kessel FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Gerrit Waeberghe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorn Vissenaeken having to interfere. In the 80th minute Steven Vollens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorn Vissenaeken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steven Vollens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jorn Vissenaeken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Jean-Louis Van de Gaer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Zymotic's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
