Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Fernand Kerckmans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Breemeers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tellin the free kick. Fernand Kerckmans kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Sergio Huyghebaert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Duchateau in the 6th minute of play. Bass Storms recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Angelo Duchateau came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the KFC Breemeers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Duchateau couldn't finish the play. Michael Alaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cedrik Leenknecht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Michael Alaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Huyghebaert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Duchateau's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, KFC Breemeers's goal looked a bit too open when Lenny Verdonk came free, but Cedrik Leenknecht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to KFC Breemeers getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Tomas Klaes hit a great ball. Lenny Verdonk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cedrik Leenknecht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Huyghebaert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Duchateau in the 41st minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lenny Verdonk to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Michael Alaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tellin's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Alaerts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cedrik Leenknecht breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, KFC Breemeers's goal looked a bit too open when Lenny Verdonk came free, but Cedrik Leenknecht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cedrik Leenknecht showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Angelo Duchateau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Breemeers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Duchateau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergio Huyghebaert was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The KFC Breemeers players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Tellin from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
