Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sebastien Van Deinze kicked off to start the match. Hallaar's Jarne Van Leemput played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rein Denys in the 7th minute of play. Jarne Van Leemput made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rein Denys in the 13th minute of play. Sebastien Van Deinze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sam Van Deinze having to make a save. A collision led to Hallaar getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Pierre-Alexandre Knockaert hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the game, Rein Denys cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jarne Van Leemput was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fredrik Van Leempten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarne Van Leemput showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rein Denys in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Glenn Van Meensel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute Rein Denys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarne Van Leemput saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastien Van Deinze struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Sam Van Deinze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hallaar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rein Denys in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarne Van Leemput prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Glenn Van Meensel came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Schrikhoek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glenn Van Meensel couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rein Denys to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Hallaar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Vereeken to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Hallaar's Jarne Van Leemput got control of the ball when Glenn Van Meensel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Hallaar's goal looked a bit too open when Rein Denys came free, but Jarne Van Leemput reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jarne Van Leemput, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 77th minute, Rein Denys fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jarne Van Leemput, passed just outside the right post. Jarne Van Leemput made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glenn Van Meensel in the 77th minute. After 83 minutes, Casper Vereeken mouthed his way into the referee's book.
