Qwinten De Fauw's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harald Van Lancker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. If Evert De Raeijmaeckers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harald Van Lancker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qwinten De Fauw, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Blue Army's Leopold Dillemans got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, one of Blue Army:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Trois-Ponts. Henrik Van Daelen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Harald Van Lancker. 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Blue Army's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Adams came free, but Harald Van Lancker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes, Abel Reijckmans made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Trois-Ponts's Guust Coomans tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Evert De Raeijmaeckers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trois-Ponts fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Qwinten De Fauw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harald Van Lancker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evert De Raeijmaeckers went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Blue Army's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Evert De Raeijmaeckers 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-4. Qwinten De Fauw struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Harald Van Lancker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trois-Ponts. The supporters of Trois-Ponts booed when Blue Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Claessens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Qwinten De Fauw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Evert De Raeijmaeckers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harald Van Lancker was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. In the 83rd minute, Qwinten De Fauw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harald Van Lancker was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Evert De Raeijmaeckers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evert De Raeijmaeckers really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. A hard shot 91 in the game by Qwinten De Fauw from a close distance when the talented Harald Van Lancker managed to make a qualified save. Blue Army's players were relieved. When Evert De Raeijmaeckers came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Trois-Ponts fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evert De Raeijmaeckers couldn't finish the play. If Evert De Raeijmaeckers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Blue Army's Harald Van Lancker got control of the ball when Qwinten De Fauw tried to sneak it across the goal line.
