Spectators: 7618 (Terracing: 5714, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 152) 2 minutes into the game, Xander Hoeybroeck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lennart Vincke. Xander Hoeybroeck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. SK Kolegem's Lennart Vincke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xander Hoeybroeck in the 8th minute of play. Jim De Maijer hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Roderik Roelants had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lex Verdonckt hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Xander Hoeybroeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niels Standaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cederique Koninckx having to interfere. Hulsters's Xander Hoeybroeck got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lennart Vincke was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Xander Hoeybroeck capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xander Hoeybroeck really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Xander Hoeybroeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Lennart Vincke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Xander Hoeybroeck reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lennart Vincke. The goal made the score 3-0. If Antonio Koninkx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Koninkx in the 47th minute of play forced Hulsters's goalkeeper Cederique Koninckx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes, Cedric Segers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hulsters and the SK Kolegem players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

SK Kolegem's Lennart Vincke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daevy Koenens in the 56th minute of play. Viktor Calstermans kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Rene De Roeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 minutes, Antonio Koninkx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Kolegem and the Hulsters players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes SK Kolegem got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Koninkx. SK Kolegem's Lennart Vincke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xander Hoeybroeck in the 67th minute of play. Hulsters's Xander Hoeybroeck got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Hulsters's zone, Viktor Calstermans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cederique Koninckx came out of the goal and Viktor Calstermans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xander Hoeybroeck took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lennart Vincke. Lennart Vincke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Antonio Koninkx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Cederique Koninckx made a huge save. When Antonio Koninkx came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the SK Kolegem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Koninkx couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hulsters had won after a very even match.
