Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Timy Huijgens started the match with the kick off. Thobias Leers charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thobias Leers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ewout Laureys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claus Timmermans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KSV Jabbeke's Ewout Laureys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goffrey Van Mellaert in the 8th minute of play. Yoeri Koppens's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Tom De Wortelaers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Goffrey Van Mellaert struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Ewout Laureys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comblain-au-Pont. Comblain-au-Pont's Goffrey Van Mellaert got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claus Timmermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ewout Laureys having to interfere. Charles-Antoine Pelsers hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes Comblain-au-Pont got a freekick which was hit by Charles-Antoine Pelsers. The supporters of KSV Jabbeke booed when Comblain-au-Pont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Konings didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Timy Huijgens kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tom De Wortelaers. That made the score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. After a rather tough play, KSV Jabbeke's Joerie Van Huruck got a free kick in the 39th minute. Tom De Wortelaers made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Yoeri Koppens sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the game, Jeoffrey Dheedene was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KSV Jabbeke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Comblain-au-Pont the free kick. The audience held their breath when Yannik Slegers in the 48th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ewout Laureys's left hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Goffrey Van Mellaert made the kick off in the second half. Yoeri Koppens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Yannik Slegers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yoeri Koppens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom De Wortelaers having to interfere. Timy Huijgens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Tom De Wortelaers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of KSV Jabbeke:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Comblain-au-Pont:s goal. When the match had been going on for 90 minutes, Comblain-au-Pont's Noel Konings got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ewout Laureys. Yoeri Koppens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tom De Wortelaers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. In the 98th minute, one of Comblain-au-Pont:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Comblain-au-Pont. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
