Spectators: 7565 (Terracing: 5675, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jacobus Schoenmaekers kicked off to start the match. RFC Tournai's Remi Van Hamme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save RFC Tournai from getting a goal against them. In the 5th minute Royal Union Auderghem were awarded a corner. Balthazar Mesmaeckers went to the cornerflag to take it. Amaury Horemans was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bavo Van Hoght got free with Remi Van Hamme in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remi Van Hamme was a little too slow when Jacobus Schoenmaekers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Seppe Hairpoel kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobus Schoenmaekers in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remi Van Hamme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Royal Union Auderghem's Basiel Mampaerts got a free kick in the 18th minute. Royal Union Auderghem's Remco Hosselaer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Nijs in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th minute Wilfried Rauvoets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remco Hosselaer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Marco Nijs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remco Hosselaer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Marco Nijs dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Remco Hosselaer, 1-2. Wilfried Rauvoets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remco Hosselaer having to interfere. Bavo Van Hoght recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remi Van Hamme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobus Schoenmaekers in the 69th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, RFC Tournai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brend De Jaeger to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seppe Hairpoel during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Remi Van Hamme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobus Schoenmaekers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfried Rauvoets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Bavo Van Hoght made a precise shot to the right of Remi Van Hamme. RFC Tournai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. A collision led to Royal Union Auderghem getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Pierre Goovaers hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Giovanni Van Beringhen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Royal Union Auderghem's Remco Hosselaer didn't even have to move. After having played for 91 minutes, Jacobus Schoenmaekers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal Union Auderghem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobus Schoenmaekers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. RFC Tournai's Remi Van Hamme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bavo Van Hoght in the 92nd minute of play. RFC Tournai's Wilfried Rauvoets got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
