In the 34th minute, Jorden Wenderickx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pierre-Olivier Degryse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rens Van Der Weghen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Olivier Degryse in the 39th minute of the match. With a little luck, AFC Bucquoi's Rens Van Der Weghen got control of the ball when Fernand de Pelsmaker tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pierre-Olivier Degryse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rens Van Der Weghen was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Diederik Van Maestricht lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The penalty shot was made by Olliver De Ketelaere, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of De Fenix boys's Billie Van der Roost. 2-1. When Stef Van Eyck came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the AFC Bucquoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stef Van Eyck couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Bucquoi's zone, Fernand de Pelsmaker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rens Van Der Weghen came out of the goal and Fernand de Pelsmaker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, AFC Bucquoi's Richmond Ourogge got a free kick in the 71st minute. With a little luck, AFC Bucquoi's Rens Van Der Weghen got control of the ball when Fernand de Pelsmaker tried to sneak it across the goal line. De Fenix boys's Billie Van der Roost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stef Van Eyck in the 76th minute of play. After 84 played minutes De Fenix boys got a freekick which was hit by Augustijn Wautiers. Fernand de Pelsmaker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rens Van Der Weghen having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Augustijn Wautiers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Fenix boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After having played for 93 minutes, Ruud Helsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Fenix boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruud Helsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernand de Pelsmaker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rens Van Der Weghen having to make a save. De Fenix boys were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
