Frederik Leclerq received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. George De nuijter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Frederik Leclerq had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Herald Reijers fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Jadi's protests and gave Herald Reijers a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club brugge booed when Fc Jadi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herald Reijers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th match minute, Club brugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jannick Leempoels to maneuver through the defense. Diego Van Hecke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George De nuijter having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Joerie Van haeck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Vissenaekers was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. A collision led to Fc Jadi getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Herald Reijers hit a great ball. Jannick Leempoels kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Frederik Leclerq managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Jadi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederik Leclerq was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute Yanick Wuets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Vissenaekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gust Van der Borght stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yanick Wuets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Vissenaekers having to interfere. Yanick Wuets's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Vissenaekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Club brugge's Gust Van der Borght got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yanick Wuets could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jan Vissenaekers made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, Fc Jadi's goalkeeper Jan Vissenaekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yanick Wuets. A collision led to Fc Jadi getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hector Gebuers hit a great ball. Jan Vissenaekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gust Van der Borght in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Gust Van der Borght who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Jadi's Jan Vissenaekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gust Van der Borght fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Vissenaekers having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jannick Leempoels in the 76th minute of play forced Fc Jadi's goalkeeper Jan Vissenaekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc Jadi's Jan Vissenaekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gust Van der Borght in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Club brugge's Gust Van der Borght dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Aaron Verduin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Vissenaekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joerie Van haeck in the 86th minute. Jan Vissenaekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gust Van der Borght in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Gust Van der Borght managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club brugge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gust Van der Borght was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Club brugge left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fc Jadi.
