Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Joerie Van haeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Van Den Abeele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Joerie Van haeck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luke Van Den Abeele. AFC Hompre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joerie Van haeck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 9th minute, Tibo De Messemaecker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christof Van Dessel hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Luke Van Den Abeele made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Yanick Wuets sent off a good shot on target. Dreas Gendre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George De nuijter having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gust Van der Borght in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luke Van Den Abeele saved AFC Hompre from getting behind. Jannick Leempoels hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Dreas Gendre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Hompre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dreas Gendre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luke Van Den Abeele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gust Van der Borght, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Dreas Gendre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jannick Leempoels kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Joerie Van haeck fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club brugge's protests and gave Joerie Van haeck a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Jordi Correyns sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club brugge's George De nuijter didn't even have to move. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Luke Van Den Abeele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gust Van der Borght in the 54th minute of the match. If Gust Van der Borght had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gust Van der Borght scored 2-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luke Van Den Abeele, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joerie Van haeck kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Yanick Wuets ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luke Van Den Abeele was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Club brugge's George De nuijter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dreas Gendre in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Club brugge's goal looked a bit too open when Dreas Gendre came free, but George De nuijter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC Hompre's Luke Van Den Abeele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yanick Wuets in the 81st minute of play. When Yanick Wuets came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Club brugge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yanick Wuets couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Christof Van Dessel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luke Van Den Abeele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yanick Wuets, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Hompre's goalkeeper Luke Van Den Abeele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Club brugge fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Club brugge's Yanick Wuets looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luke Van Den Abeele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yanick Wuets in the 95th minute of the match. AFC Hompre's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
