SC Internacional's Yanick Van Steen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Van Hecke in the 26th minute of play. Chris-George van Elderen hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Ief Vercalsteren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frederik Leclerq fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yanick Van Steen having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natan Van De Gehuchte was the one to do the kick off. The attack was good, but when Ief Vercalsteren in the 59th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ief Vercalsteren in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Vissenaekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frederik Leclerq succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 66th playminute. Frederik Leclerq could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Yanick Van Steen made a huge save. Christoph De Smedt kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frederik Leclerq got free with Yanick Van Steen in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SC Internacional's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Diego Van Hecke 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. In the 86th minute Natan Van De Gehuchte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Vissenaekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yanick Van Steen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Van Hecke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Fc Jadi's goal looked a bit too open when Natan Van De Gehuchte came free, but Jan Vissenaekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
