AFC Hompre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dreas Gendre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ief Vercalsteren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natan Van De Gehuchte made a kick off. Luke Van Den Abeele made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ief Vercalsteren sent off a good shot on target. Mateo Klinkenberg hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes, Abraham Sterkx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Internacional and the AFC Hompre players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Internacional getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Abraham Sterkx hit a great ball. Charly De Wever recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, AFC Hompre's goal looked a bit too open when Natan Van De Gehuchte came free, but Luke Van Den Abeele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC Hompre's Luke Van Den Abeele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save AFC Hompre from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, SC Internacional's goal looked a bit too open when Christof Van Dessel came free, but Yanick Van Steen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Dreas Gendre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanick Van Steen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Charly De Wever managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Hompre's supporters rose to their feet, but Charly De Wever was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yanick Van Steen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SC Internacional's Abraham Sterkx got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, AFC Hompre's Charly De Wever sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yanick Van Steen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The SC Internacional players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented AFC Hompre from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
