Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) De Fenix boys's Pierre-Olivier Degryse started the match with a crisp pass. Marnix Vercruysse's late challenge caught a De Fenix boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Fernand de Pelsmaker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the match, AFC Bucquoi's Gaetan Creemers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Billie Van der Roost narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaetan Creemers made a kick off.
