In the 19th minute, Robben Rosseels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, TIKI TAKA CF's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Kerstens came free, but Rocky Vercammen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Justus's late challenge caught a Wolvertem-Merchtem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teo Coekelbergh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rocky Vercammen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. When Andries Lingier came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Wolvertem-Merchtem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andries Lingier couldn't finish the play. 98 minutes into the match, Wolvertem-Merchtem's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Roelands came free, but Jannes Meulemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The TIKI TAKA CF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wolvertem-Merchtem were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
