Spectators: 6758 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 0) Mazenhoven's Geoffrey Symons started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gerrit Reynaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Nicolas Kerstens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conrad Vranckx. Mazenhoven's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolas Kerstens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Mazenhoven's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Coekelbergh came free, but Conrad Vranckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Kerstens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrad Vranckx having to interfere. The long shot by Laurence Hermans in the 20th minute really tested Jannes Meulemans's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mazenhoven's Conrad Vranckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andries Lingier in the 22nd minute of play. Teo Coekelbergh might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conrad Vranckx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teo Coekelbergh ran back to his position shaking his head. Conrad Vranckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Kerstens in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Teo Coekelbergh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrad Vranckx was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 33 minutes, Boudewijn Van Den Broeck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mazenhoven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boudewijn Van Den Broeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Sam Jooris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Wolvertem-Merchtem's Matias Van den Maegdenbergh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conrad Vranckx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Mazenhoven's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Kerstens came free, but Conrad Vranckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo Coekelbergh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Wolvertem-Merchtem were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teo Coekelbergh to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Teo Coekelbergh made a precise shot to the right of Conrad Vranckx. Mazenhoven's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Jannes Meulemans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boudewijn Van Den Broeck in the 61st minute of the match. Andries Lingier hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Conrad Vranckx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teo Coekelbergh's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. The attack was good, but when Teo Coekelbergh in the 71st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 76 minutes into the match, Matias Van den Maegdenbergh dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Conrad Vranckx, 0-5. In the 81st minute Andries Lingier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrad Vranckx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute Geoffrey Symons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Meulemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teo Coekelbergh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mazenhoven's zone, Nicolas Kerstens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrad Vranckx came out of the goal and Nicolas Kerstens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Sam Jooris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolas Kerstens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrad Vranckx having to interfere. When Teo Coekelbergh came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Wolvertem-Merchtem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Coekelbergh couldn't finish the play. 98 minutes into the game, Matias Van den Maegdenbergh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Conrad Vranckx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wolvertem-Merchtem's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
