Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Tijs Montens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Meulemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Van den Maegdenbergh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernt Van Hallebeeck having to interfere. With a little luck, rc reppel's Bernt Van Hallebeeck got control of the ball when Teo Coekelbergh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matias Van den Maegdenbergh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernt Van Hallebeeck having to interfere. Bernt Van Hallebeeck made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Matias Van den Maegdenbergh sent off a good shot on target. Bernt Van Hallebeeck was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teo Coekelbergh showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. If Rob Maerschalks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Poelmans hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Kristiaan Justus's late challenge caught a Wolvertem-Merchtem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristiaan Justus helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes rc reppel got a freekick which was hit by Kristiaan Justus. After a rather tough play, Wolvertem-Merchtem's Andries Lingier got a free kick in the 29th minute. Andries Lingier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rob Maerschalks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bernt Van Hallebeeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Andries Lingier came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Wolvertem-Merchtem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andries Lingier couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tijs Montens to strike the kick off in the second half. Wolvertem-Merchtem's Matias Van den Maegdenbergh got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute Andries Lingier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernt Van Hallebeeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sam Jooris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes, Matias Francken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the rc reppel and the Wolvertem-Merchtem players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, Matias Francken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernt Van Hallebeeck came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Wolvertem-Merchtem's Matias Van den Maegdenbergh. But to his dismay, Matias Van den Maegdenbergh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Andries Lingier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Andries Lingier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernt Van Hallebeeck was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Rob Maerschalks came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Wolvertem-Merchtem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rob Maerschalks couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rob Maerschalks in the 75th minute of play forced rc reppel's goalkeeper Bernt Van Hallebeeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wolvertem-Merchtem's Jannes Meulemans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Wolvertem-Merchtem from getting a goal against them. Jannes Meulemans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tijs Montens in the 78th minute of the match. When Andries Lingier came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Wolvertem-Merchtem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andries Lingier couldn't finish the play. Matias Van den Maegdenbergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. The supporters of Wolvertem-Merchtem booed when rc reppel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats De Kelper didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the rc reppel defense, Matias Van den Maegdenbergh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernt Van Hallebeeck. The rc reppel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernt Van Hallebeeck should have stopped the shot.
