The supporters of RoccoJuniors-resigning!!! booed when Herbesthal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Standaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Ceulemans's late challenge caught a RoccoJuniors-resigning!!!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Ceulemans helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Rafael Ceulemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Camiel Haeselaers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Nelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claus Nelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camiel Haeselaers, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, RoccoJuniors-resigning!!!'s Evert Steenberghs got a free kick in the 36th minute. Enzo Minnen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claus Nelis having to interfere.

In the 58th minute, Johannes Helsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camiel Haeselaers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claus Nelis having to interfere. Johannes Helsen charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johannes Helsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Johannes Helsen hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Camiel Haeselaers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Herbesthal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 76th match minute, RoccoJuniors-resigning!!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Steenberghs to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute of the match Herbesthal got a corner. RoccoJuniors-resigning!!!'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lode Nijs ran over to the corner to take the kick. Benny Leyman was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Benny Leyman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, RoccoJuniors-resigning!!!'s goalkeeper Claus Nelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camiel Haeselaers. 83 minutes into the match, Herbesthal's goal looked a bit too open when Roben De Schutter came free, but Charles-Louis Van Der Straeten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Roben De Schutter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RoccoJuniors-resigning!!!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Roben De Schutter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. RoccoJuniors-resigning!!!'s Claus Nelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save RoccoJuniors-resigning!!! from getting a goal against them. When Evert Steenberghs fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RoccoJuniors-resigning!!!'s protests and gave Evert Steenberghs a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rdth minute of the game Enzo Minnen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RoccoJuniors-resigning!!!'s Claus Nelis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herbesthal's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
