The goalkeeper, Michiel Van den Broeck, was totally fooled by Club brugge's Harold Van Casteren, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bleach's goalkeeper Michiel Van den Broeck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club brugge's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harold Van Casteren in the 16th minute. The corner led to Club brugge's Xander Verlinden getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 19th minute Xander Verlinden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michiel Van den Broeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bleach getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Noel Borginions hit a great ball. Dimitri Stroobans struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Mathias Van Gele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bleach. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Mathias Van Gele successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bleach were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Club brugge to leave the ground with a draw.
