Michiel Van den Broeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Verheijt in the 5th minute of the match. Michiel Van den Broeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Philippaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kris Philippaerts in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michiel Van den Broeck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Noel Verheijt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 24 played minutes Bleach got a freekick which was hit by Cederik Van Leemput. Michiel Van den Broeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Philippaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noel Verheijt in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michiel Van den Broeck saved Bleach from getting behind. Michiel Van den Broeck came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by KAA Wanze's Noel Verheijt. But to his dismay, Noel Verheijt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 38th minute, Noel Borginions had to leave the field with a concussion. Tibaut Van Den Haecke's late challenge caught a Bleach's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tibaut Van Den Haecke helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th match minute, KAA Wanze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibaut Van Den Haecke to maneuver through the defense. KAA Wanze's Kris Philippaerts got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, KAA Wanze's Noel Verheijt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michiel Van den Broeck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Kris Philippaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot. KAA Wanze's supporters rose to their feet, but Kris Philippaerts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michiel Van den Broeck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 49 minutes, Kris Philippaerts put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Michiel Van den Broeck. The Bleach players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KAA Wanze were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dimitri Stroobans to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Kris Philippaerts made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Bleach's Michiel Van den Broeck tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Noel Verheijt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Michiel Van den Broeck made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Dimitri Stroobans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bleach's Michiel Van den Broeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Philippaerts in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute KAA Wanze were awarded a corner. Luuk Armentier went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noel Verheijt got free with Michiel Van den Broeck in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the last second Michiel Van den Broeck throw himself and got hold of the ball when Kris Philippaerts in the 72ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Michiel Van den Broeck made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Noel Verheijt sent off a good shot on target. Bleach's Michiel Van den Broeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Philippaerts in the 75th minute of play. Noel Verheijt struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Michiel Van den Broeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KAA Wanze. Kris Philippaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Michiel Van den Broeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Kris Philippaerts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kris Philippaerts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michiel Van den Broeck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Noel Verheijt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michiel Van den Broeck having to interfere. When Dimitri Stroobans fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bleach's protests and gave Dimitri Stroobans a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Bleach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitri Stroobans to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bleach's zone, Tibaut Van Den Haecke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michiel Van den Broeck came out of the goal and Tibaut Van Den Haecke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KAA Wanze's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
