Spectators: 6752 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joannes Humblets kicked off to start the match. Antoine Coveliers took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kim Van Hallebeeck. Kim Van Hallebeeck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Achilles Lijsens came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Wambeke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achilles Lijsens couldn't finish the play. Kim Van Hallebeeck came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Wambeke's Achilles Lijsens. But to his dismay, Achilles Lijsens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Mathias-Alexander Van De Velden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kim Van Hallebeeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoine Coveliers in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Upigny getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Thommy De Peuter hit a great ball. In the 27th match minute, Upigny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jozef Raemakers to maneuver through the defense. Joannes Humblets blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kim Naessens having to make a save. A collision led to Upigny getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Thommy De Peuter hit a great ball. Kim Van Hallebeeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoine Coveliers in the 32nd minute of the match. Tim Vervaet kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Joannes Humblets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim Naessens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wambeke's goalkeeper Kim Naessens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Achilles Lijsens made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Achilles Lijsens put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Kim Van Hallebeeck. With an all-out effort, Wambeke's Kim Van Hallebeeck threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Achilles Lijsens, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Upigny's Jozef Raemakers got a free kick in the 60th minute. Antoine Coveliers struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Kim Van Hallebeeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wambeke. Wambeke's Kim Naessens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias-Alexander Van De Velden in the 69th minute of play. Joannes Humblets's late challenge caught a Wambeke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joannes Humblets helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Upigny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joannes Humblets to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 71 minutes, Achilles Lijsens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wambeke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Achilles Lijsens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Achilles Lijsens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Wambeke's Hendrik Focquier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kim Van Hallebeeck. That made the score 0-4 after 82 minutes of play. If Antoine Coveliers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Upigny got a freekick which was hit by Mathias-Alexander Van De Velden. Antoine Coveliers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wambeke's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
