Yanick Van Langhendoncx started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Lambermont's goal looked a bit too open when Achilles Lijsens came free, but Bertrand Mallaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Achilles Lijsens notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lambermont's Bertrand Mallaerts. Bertrand Mallaerts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bertrand Mallaerts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antoine Coveliers in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Wambeke were awarded a corner. Achilles Lijsens went to the cornerflag to take it. Sylven De Martelaere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Naessens having to interfere. Sylven De Martelaere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Kim Naessens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertrand Mallaerts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antoine Coveliers went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Wambeke:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lambermont:s goal. Kim Naessens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yanick Van Langhendoncx in the 40th minute of the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carl Vleminx made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Antoine Coveliers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lambermont booed when Wambeke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gery Huijbrechts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sylven De Martelaere could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Kim Naessens made a huge save. A collision led to Wambeke getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Matthy Heremans hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Antoine Coveliers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bertrand Mallaerts was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Bertrand Mallaerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Vleminx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gery Huijbrechts kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wambeke had won after a very even match.
