In the 7th minute, Achilles Lijsens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Achilles Lijsens received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Franck Van Haechten came out and tried to block the shot, but Achilles Lijsens slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. A collision led to Wambeke getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Matthy Heremans hit a great ball. Kim Naessens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Koenens in the 27th minute of the match. Kim Naessens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Koenens, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 33 played minutes Wambeke got a freekick which was hit by Gery Huijbrechts. Elias Koenens scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kim Naessens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Cederik Jonckheere fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wambeke's protests and gave Cederik Jonckheere a yellow card for diving instead. Cederik Jonckheere kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wambeke's zone, Elias Koenens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kim Naessens came out of the goal and Elias Koenens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Achilles Lijsens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tibo Boffin during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Dworp getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Tibo Boffin hit a great ball. Wambeke's Kim Naessens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xander-Paul Gallot in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Dworp booed when Wambeke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthy Heremans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kim Naessens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xander-Paul Gallot in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Achilles Lijsens made a precise shot to the right of Franck Van Haechten. Dworp's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Wambeke were victorious despite being under pressure from Dworp for much of the match.
