Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Soren Anthonissen made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the Halen defense, Erik Haentjens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dylan van der Eycken. The Halen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dylan van der Eycken should have stopped the shot. Erik Haentjens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Dylan van der Eycken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jammy Pieters charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jammy Pieters the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jammy Pieters hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Erik Haentjens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dylan van der Eycken was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Zuiddamme's Erik Haentjens got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Thommy Wils received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dylan van der Eycken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Soren Anthonissen, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boudewijn Limpens in the 36th minute of play forced Halen's goalkeeper Dylan van der Eycken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Thommy Wils reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mats Van Boekost. The goal made the score 1-1. Jammy Pieters took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dylan van der Eycken. Dylan van der Eycken dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 46 minutes into the game, Erik Haentjens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Dylan van der Eycken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thommy Wils to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Zuiddamme's Boudewijn Limpens got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Halen's Dylan van der Eycken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Soren Anthonissen in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Grauwen in the 64th minute of play forced Zuiddamme's goalkeeper Mats Van Boekost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mattheo Van der Vorst came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Halen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattheo Van der Vorst couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Halen's zone, Soren Anthonissen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylan van der Eycken came out of the goal and Soren Anthonissen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Soren Anthonissen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dylan van der Eycken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Halen's goal looked a bit too open when Soren Anthonissen came free, but Dylan van der Eycken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Soren Anthonissen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 97 minutes of play Zuiddamme's Jammy Pieters was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jammy Pieters hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
