Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC broll's Lex Lanen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jochen Armentier in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jo De Mulder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jo De Mulder came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lommelse Azul's Balthazar De Leger. But to his dismay, Balthazar De Leger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Herman Lingier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lex Lanen in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Lommelse Azul's Herman Lingier got control of the ball when Laurens Clinckspoor tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes in the game Jacques Ceulemans did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Wes Daniels. Herman Lingier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lex Lanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Balthazar De Leger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jochen Armentier in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jo De Mulder saved FC broll from getting behind. Herman Lingier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lex Lanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Herman Lingier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lex Lanen in the 34th minute of the match. Fre Godefroid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Lex Lanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Lingier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Lex Lanen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Herman Lingier. Lex Lanen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Dan De Wever kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Laurens Clinckspoor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jochen Armentier to make the kick off. Herman Lingier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laurens Clinckspoor went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the game, Wes Daniels threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Lommelse Azul's Balthazar De Leger quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 61 minutes into the match, FC broll's goalkeeper Jo De Mulder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jochen Armentier. 63 minutes into the match, FC Lommelse Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Laurens Clinckspoor came free, but Herman Lingier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Laurens Clinckspoor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lex Lanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herman Lingier having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, FC Lommelse Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Lex Lanen came free, but Herman Lingier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Lommelse Azul's Dan De Wever got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Bart Van Haechten kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, FC broll's goal looked a bit too open when Jochen Armentier came free, but Jo De Mulder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herman Lingier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lex Lanen in the 99th minute of the match.
