Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) Soren Anthonissen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes Zuiddamme got a freekick which was hit by Jammy Pieters. In the 6th minute, Boudewijn Limpens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soren Anthonissen in the 7th minute of play forced FC Lommelse Azul's goalkeeper Herman Lingier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Lommelse Azul getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Bart Van Haechten hit a great ball. Zuiddamme's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Jochen Armentier scored to the left of an out of position Mats Van Boekost, making the score, 1-0. Erik Haentjens scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herman Lingier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 26 played minutes Zuiddamme got a freekick which was hit by Jammy Pieters. 29 minutes into the match, Erik Haentjens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herman Lingier. FC Lommelse Azul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Haentjens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Bart Van Haechten's late challenge caught a Zuiddamme's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bart Van Haechten helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Bart Van Haechten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Soren Anthonissen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herman Lingier having to interfere. Jochen Armentier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mats Van Boekost read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. FC Lommelse Azul's Herman Lingier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Soren Anthonissen in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Zuiddamme's goalkeeper Mats Van Boekost had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bart Van Haechten. FC Lommelse Azul's Bart Van Haechten got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The FC Lommelse Azul players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zuiddamme were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Jochen Armentier made the kick off in the second half. Mats Van Boekost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jochen Armentier in the 52nd minute of the match. Mats Van Boekost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart Van Haechten in the 56th minute of play. Jammy Pieters kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Jochen Armentier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Van Boekost having to interfere. After 67 minutes of play, Zuiddamme's Soren Anthonissen made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herman Lingier was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 75 minutes of play FC Lommelse Azul's Bart Van Haechten was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 75th minute, Bart Van Haechten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 78 minutes, Jochen Armentier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lommelse Azul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jochen Armentier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Balthazar De Leger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, FC Lommelse Azul's Jochen Armentier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mats Van Boekost made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 86th minute, Zuiddamme's Soren Anthonissen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Pierre Rijmenans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Mats Van Boekost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Zuiddamme got a freekick which was hit by Soren Anthonissen. Mats Van Boekost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jochen Armentier in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zuiddamme had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
