Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thommy Wils took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mattheo Van der Vorst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charl Schoovaerts having to interfere. Charl Schoovaerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thommy Wils, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Halen's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Bastin came free, but Dylan van der Eycken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dylan van der Eycken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freek Oosters in the 18th minute of the match. Lennart Libesoons's late challenge caught a Temse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennart Libesoons helped the player get up and apologised. Temse's Freek Oosters got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Halen getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Lennart Libesoons hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Freek Oosters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan van der Eycken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thommy Wils received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Charl Schoovaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Bastin might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dylan van der Eycken. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Bastin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute, Freek Oosters left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Temse fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Oscar Bastin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Xander Stroobant's late challenge caught a Temse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xander Stroobant helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Halen's Constant Van der Loock got a free kick in the 57th minute. The long shot by Stan Verdonck in the 58th minute really tested Dylan van der Eycken's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 60 minutes into the match, Halen's goal looked a bit too open when Freek Oosters came free, but Dylan van der Eycken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dylan van der Eycken made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Oscar Bastin sent off a good shot on target. After 64 minutes, Arnauld Van Heerle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Halen and the Temse players grew even worse after the yellow card. Temse's Charl Schoovaerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julius Grauwen in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Matthis Cockx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Oscar Bastin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Charl Schoovaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thommy Wils in the 79th minute of play. After some careless play in the Halen defense, Oscar Bastin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dylan van der Eycken. The Halen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dylan van der Eycken should have stopped the shot. Freek Oosters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 92 minutes, Freek Oosters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Temse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freek Oosters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Lieven Van Den Linden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 96 minutes, Thommy Wils managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thommy Wils was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Temse left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Halen.
