The supporters of Memphis F.C. booed when SC Meeren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remy Degraef didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathias Van de Weijer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Willy De Beer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Memphis F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Willy De Beer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joey Niewens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Memphis F.C.'s Mathias Van de Weijer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joey Niewens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28thth minute of the game Mathias Van de Weijer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Meeren's Joey Niewens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Mathias Van de Weijer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeoffrey Volders came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Meeren's Vic Raeijmaeckers. But to his dismay, Vic Raeijmaeckers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Mathias Van de Weijer came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Memphis F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Van de Weijer couldn't finish the play. Remy Degraef charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remy Degraef the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, SC Meeren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remy Degraef to maneuver through the defense. The Memphis F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Memphis F.C.'s Willy De Beer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mathias Van de Weijer made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Meeren's goalkeeper Joey Niewens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Mathias Van de Weijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59thth minute of the game Mathias Van de Weijer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Meeren's Joey Niewens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to SC Meeren getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Remy Degraef hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Mathias Van de Weijer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joey Niewens was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After 77 minutes, Jorg Bruynincx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Meeren and the Memphis F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Meeren getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jorg Bruynincx hit a great ball. Memphis F.C.'s Yvan Owerckx couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Meeren. After a rather tough play, SC Meeren's Jorg Bruynincx got a free kick in the 81st minute. Mathias Van de Weijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Niewens having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Mathias Van de Weijer managed to get in a good position for a shot. The supporters of Memphis F.C. booed when SC Meeren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorg Bruynincx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Memphis F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
