The audience was convinced that Nicolaas De Kerpel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mattheo Vercammen was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. 53 minutes into the match, VC United's goal looked a bit too open when Frits Gramet came free, but Boris Volckaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ordered Felix Van Poucke off the ground. After 92 played minutes VC United got a freekick which was hit by Felix Van Poucke. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolaas De Kerpel during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
