Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nicolaas De Kerpel got the match started through his kick off. VC United's Boris Volckaerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnout Van Herck in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Christian Algoedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boris Volckaerts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnout Van Herck in the 15th minute of the match. Ruben Van Cauwenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolaas De Kerpel's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Boris Volckaerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnout Van Herck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Arnout Van Herck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boris Volckaerts was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ruben Van Cauwenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamiel Theuniers in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Luka Wouters managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maalbroek's supporters rose to their feet, but Luka Wouters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boris Volckaerts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, VC United's Felix Van Poucke got a free kick in the 28th minute. Arnout Van Herck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Volckaerts having to interfere. Benjamin Maeijnarts, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Nicolaas De Kerpel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruben Van Cauwenberg was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Kamiel Theuniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruben Van Cauwenberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolaas De Kerpel went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. VC United's Nicolaas De Kerpel got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnout Van Herck to make the kick off. Willem-Jan Wagemans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Ruben Van Cauwenberg made a huge save. Maalbroek's Ruben Van Cauwenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolaas De Kerpel in the 56th minute of play. Arnout Van Herck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Boris Volckaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolaas De Kerpel in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Van Cauwenberg saved Maalbroek from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, Maalbroek's goalkeeper Ruben Van Cauwenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kamiel Theuniers. Maxime Schol charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maxime Schol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Maalbroek got a freekick which was hit by Maxime Schol. 72 minutes into the match, Maalbroek's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolaas De Kerpel came free, but Ruben Van Cauwenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Van Cauwenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolaas De Kerpel in the 78th minute of the match. Kamiel Theuniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 84 minutes, Kamiel Theuniers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VC United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kamiel Theuniers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kamiel Theuniers got free with Ruben Van Cauwenberg in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Maalbroek's Ruben Van Cauwenberg got control of the ball when Kamiel Theuniers tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Kamiel Theuniers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luka Wouters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolaas De Kerpel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. VC United were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
