Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arnout Van Herck got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnout Van Herck in the 6th minute of play forced VC United's goalkeeper Boris Volckaerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 played minutes VC United got a freekick which was hit by Willem-Jan Wagemans. After 9 minutes of play, VC United's Kamiel Theuniers made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Van Cauwenberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kamiel Theuniers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ruben Van Cauwenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, VC United's Ruben Van Cauwenberg threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicolaas De Kerpel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Maalbroek's Maxime Schol got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maalbroek's goalkeeper Ruben Van Cauwenberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Maalbroek's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolaas De Kerpel came free, but Ruben Van Cauwenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Van Cauwenberg didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when VC United's Kamiel Theuniers shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Ruben Van Cauwenberg came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by VC United's Kamiel Theuniers. But to his dismay, Kamiel Theuniers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. VC United's Boris Volckaerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnout Van Herck in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to VC United getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Felix Van Poucke hit a great ball. Kamiel Theuniers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Van Cauwenberg having to interfere. Boris Volckaerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luka Wouters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolaas De Kerpel was the one to do the kick off. If Luk Van de Loock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute of the match Benjamin Maeijnarts sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruben Van Cauwenberg skillfully saved the ball. Nicolaas De Kerpel struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ruben Van Cauwenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VC United. Maalbroek's Ruben Van Cauwenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamiel Theuniers in the 59th minute of play. The VC United fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when VC United's Nicolaas De Kerpel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 67thth minute of the game Nicolaas De Kerpel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maalbroek's Ruben Van Cauwenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 68 minutes, Felix Van Poucke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VC United and the Maalbroek players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felix Van Poucke kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Kamiel Theuniers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Van Cauwenberg. Maalbroek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kamiel Theuniers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 79 minutes into the game, Maxime Schol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maalbroek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VC United the free kick. After 79 played minutes Maalbroek got a freekick which was hit by Maxime Schol. Ruben Van Cauwenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolaas De Kerpel, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. VC United's Nicolaas De Kerpel got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luka Wouters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Boris Volckaerts made a huge save. Nicolaas De Kerpel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ruben Van Cauwenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, VC United's goalkeeper Boris Volckaerts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luka Wouters. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. VC United fully deserved thier win.
