Spectators: 7561 (Terracing: 5672, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tjorven Hustinx got the match started through his kick off. If Arnold Sanders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hendrik Klijnhens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joseph Leers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hendrik Klijnhens's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Render during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jos Raeymakers's late challenge caught a Wicked Hippies FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jos Raeymakers helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to KSV Chiny getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jos Raeymakers hit a great ball. Ray Smeulders, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. KSV Chiny's Adolphe van Hacht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tjorven Hustinx in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of KSV Chiny booed when Wicked Hippies FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Render didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reinaud Van Meensel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Leers having to interfere. If Reinaud Van Meensel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hendrik Klijnhens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Joseph Leers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joseph Leers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaud Van Meensel in the 44th minute of play. Joseph Leers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaud Van Meensel in the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaud Van Meensel in the 47th minute of play forced Wicked Hippies FC's goalkeeper Joseph Leers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinaud Van Meensel made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Wicked Hippies FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaud Van Meensel came free, but Joseph Leers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hendrik Klijnhenss short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Joseph Leers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Reinaud Van Meensel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Joseph Leers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tjorven Hustinx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Adolphe van Hacht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaud Van Meensel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joseph Leers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. If Hendrik Klijnhens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes Wicked Hippies FC got a freekick which was hit by Alain van Bedts. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinaud Van Meensel in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph Leers saved Wicked Hippies FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Wicked Hippies FC's Michel Render got a free kick in the 67th minute. Reinaud Van Meensel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reinaud Van Meensel in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseph Leers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 72 played minutes KSV Chiny got a freekick which was hit by Hendrik Klijnhens. In the 74th minute, KSV Chiny's Jos Raeymakers ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joseph Leers. Joseph Leers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Joseph Leers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Reinaud Van Meensel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 82 minute of play. When Reinaud Van Meensel came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the KSV Chiny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinaud Van Meensel couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hendrik Klijnhens got free with Joseph Leers in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hendrik Klijnhens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Leers having to interfere.
