After some careless play in the AFC Localit defense, Norbert De Kock kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Ruttens. The AFC Localit fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Ruttens should have stopped the shot. 8 minutes into the match, egerci's goal looked a bit too open when Oswald Walters came free, but Lenny Thys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th match minute, egerci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remie Wautiers to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Oswald Walters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lenny Thys was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. egerci's Lenny Thys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswald Walters in the 14th minute of play. If Dre Snijers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dre Snijers in the 22nd minute of play forced egerci's goalkeeper Lenny Thys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Oswald Walters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenny Thys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC Localit were furious when Binjamin Martin was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 26 minutes into the game, one of AFC Localit:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Axel Ruttens, was totally fooled by egerci's Jannic Schamp, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 32 minutes in the game, Conrad Naegels fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Axel Ruttens having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Oswald Walters cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Lenny Thys was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Norbert De Kock came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the egerci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert De Kock couldn't finish the play. Axel Ruttens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norbert De Kock in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oswald Walters made a kick off. Norbert De Kock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Ruttens having to interfere. The supporters of AFC Localit booed when egerci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jannic Schamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in egerci's zone, Oswald Walters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lenny Thys came out of the goal and Oswald Walters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, AFC Localit's Paul Devriendt got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes, egerci's Jannic Schamp shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Axel Ruttens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in egerci reached it. A collision led to AFC Localit getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jacques Boemans hit a great ball. Paul-Louis Vlimmens charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul-Louis Vlimmens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AFC Localit! 72 minutes into the match, AFC Localit's goal looked a bit too open when Conrad Naegels came free, but Axel Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oswald Walters got free with Lenny Thys in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norbert De Kock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Axel Ruttens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Localit's goalkeeper Axel Ruttens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Norbert De Kock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remie Wautiers's late challenge caught a AFC Localit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remie Wautiers helped the player get up and apologised. Sam-Lucas Gillis kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norbert De Kock in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axel Ruttens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. egerci's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
