VC Denderleeuw's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herman Pelsers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axel Ruttens made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Herman Pelsers sent off a good shot on target. Alexandre De Keijsere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswald Walters in the 65th minute of the match. Herbert Grauwen's late challenge caught a AFC Localit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herbert Grauwen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AFC Localit booed when VC Denderleeuw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position.
