Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leopold Vischkens started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopold Vischkens in the 6th minute of play forced egerci's goalkeeper Lenny Thys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, egerci's Norbert De Kock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Perry Postens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lenny Thys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopold Vischkens in the 15th minute of the match. Sebastien Kints kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, egerci's Jannic Schamp tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Willy Verheyden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenny Thys having to interfere. egerci's Lenny Thys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopold Vischkens in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, egerci's Remie Wautiers got a free kick in the 25th minute. Lenny Thys was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Yoachim De Mees. Leopold Vischkens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Lenny Thys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, egerci's goal looked a bit too open when Leopold Vischkens came free, but Lenny Thys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erwin De Mijer charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erwin De Mijer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, egerci's Erwin De Mijer got a free kick in the 31st minute. Willy Verheyden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenny Thys having to interfere. When Conrad Naegels came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the egerci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrad Naegels couldn't finish the play. Norbert De Kock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arend Rosseels during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arend Rosseels kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Norbert De Kock struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Perry Postens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for egerci. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Conrad Naegels made the kick off in the second half. If Willy Verheyden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lenny Thys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willy Verheyden in the 57th minute of the match. When Norbert De Kock got free in front of the goal in the 60th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Perry Postens was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Lommel SK's Perry Postens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrad Naegels in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Conrad Naegels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. egerci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrad Naegels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norbert De Kock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Willy Verheyden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to egerci getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Remie Wautiers hit a great ball. Norbert De Kock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perry Postens having to interfere. Norbert De Kock's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Perry Postens firmly grabbed it by the left post. Willy Verheyden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lenny Thys read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Norbert De Kock who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Perry Postens when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Willy Verheyden struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Lenny Thys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lommel SK.
