Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marc De Meulder kicked off to start the match. If Dre Snijers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oswald Walters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Marc De Meulder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute of the match Bartjan De Hertoghe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Axel Ruttens skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC de katholieke kring's zone, Dre Snijers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominick Seveneijns came out of the goal and Dre Snijers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Marc De Meulder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dominick Seveneijns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswald Walters in the 24th minute of the match. Dominick Seveneijns came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Localit's Dre Snijers. But to his dismay, Dre Snijers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dominick Seveneijns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswald Walters, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, FC de katholieke kring's Sebastian Stuycken got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Oswald Walters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dominick Seveneijns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Sebastian Stuycken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Dre Snijers made the kick off in the second half. Sean Van Havent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Ruttens having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Dre Snijers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dominick Seveneijns. Dre Snijers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The supporters of FC de katholieke kring booed when AFC Localit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lieven Demets didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes of play AFC Localit's Lieven Demets was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 69th minute, Lieven Demets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Loui Vermeiren sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and AFC Localit's Axel Ruttens didn't even have to move. The supporters of FC de katholieke kring booed when AFC Localit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dre Snijers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC de katholieke kring's Marc De Meulder got a free kick in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Marc De Meulder managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC de katholieke kring's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc De Meulder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Axel Ruttens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sean Van Havent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oswald Walters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 94 minutes, Oswald Walters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Localit's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswald Walters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The AFC Localit supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AFC Localit would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
