Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dre Snijers kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Conrad Naegels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Axel Ruttens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 8th minute Dre Snijers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenny Thys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Ruttens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert De Kock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, egerci's goal looked a bit too open when Dre Snijers came free, but Lenny Thys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dre Snijers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, AFC Localit's goal looked a bit too open when Conrad Naegels came free, but Axel Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Conrad Naegels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axel Ruttens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrad Naegels, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Norbert De Kock's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Axel Ruttens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of egerci booed when AFC Localit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacques Boemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oswald Walters got free with Lenny Thys in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrad Naegels to make the kick off. With a little luck, AFC Localit's Axel Ruttens got control of the ball when Norbert De Kock tried to sneak it across the goal line. Norbert De Kocks short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Axel Ruttens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dre Snijers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Lenny Thys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Remie Wautiers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Oswald Walters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenny Thys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, egerci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remie Wautiers to maneuver through the defense. Lenny Thys stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dre Snijers's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Dre Snijers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Localit's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dre Snijers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswald Walters in the 66th minute of play forced egerci's goalkeeper Lenny Thys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Oswald Walters came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the AFC Localit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oswald Walters couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Conrad Naegels managed to get in a good position for a shot. egerci's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrad Naegels was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Axel Ruttens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacques Boemans during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, AFC Localit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacques Boemans to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Jannic Schamp sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and AFC Localit's Axel Ruttens didn't even have to move. Norbert De Kock struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Axel Ruttens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for egerci. Axel Ruttens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrad Naegels in the 83rd minute of the match. Jose De Mare charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose De Mare the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, AFC Localit's Jose De Mare got a free kick in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, egerci's Conrad Naegels sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Axel Ruttens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lenny Thys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dre Snijers in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Oswald Walters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenny Thys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. egerci walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
