Spectators: 6749 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raf Quinet kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giles De Meyer during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 2 played minutes Westbeke got a freekick which was hit by Giles De Meyer. Patrick De Koning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacky Wolfdoncx, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. A collision led to Westbeke getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Giles De Meyer hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Arnauld Baele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 12 played minutes Westbeke got a freekick which was hit by Giles De Meyer. After some careless play in the Westbeke defense, Arnauld Baele kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick De Koning. The Westbeke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick De Koning should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Geetsbeek booed when Westbeke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim-Alexander Vanpevenaeyge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnauld Baele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick De Koning having to interfere. If Jacky Wolfdoncx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th match minute, Westbeke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederik Minnen to maneuver through the defense. Westbeke's Giles De Meyer got his second yellow card of the match in the 26th minute. The referee ordered Giles De Meyer off the ground. Giles De Meyer hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Geetsbeek's Kurt Deswarte broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 30th minute Jacky Wolfdoncx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick De Koning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Geetsbeek's goalkeeper Marc Schellekens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viktor Verhengen. After a defensive mix-up in Westbeke's zone, Jacky Wolfdoncx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick De Koning came out of the goal and Jacky Wolfdoncx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jacky Wolfdoncx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Arnauld Baele managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geetsbeek's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnauld Baele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick De Koning breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnauld Baele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Patrick De Koning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacky Wolfdoncx made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Arnauld Baele got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 55th minute, Jacky Wolfdoncx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Arnauld Baele ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick De Koning was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Patrick De Koning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacky Wolfdoncx in the 67th minute of the match. Jacky Wolfdoncx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Patrick De Koning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Westbeke's Raf Quinet got a free kick in the 70th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Jacky Wolfdoncx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geetsbeek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacky Wolfdoncx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Jacky Wolfdoncx took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Patrick De Koning to make any attempt to save it. Patrick De Koning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacky Wolfdoncx in the 80th minute of the match. Jacky Wolfdoncx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Patrick De Koning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Patrick De Koning managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Geetsbeek's Arnauld Baele fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arnauld Baele scored 0-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick De Koning, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Geetsbeek fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Geetsbeek's Arnauld Baele looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 93rd match minute, Geetsbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Leerbels to maneuver through the defense.
