Roel Cuelens started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, KV Moerbeke's Carlos Van Gorpt got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, KV Moerbeke's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Depauw came free, but Edmond Kint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmond Kint stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Depauw's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Roger Depauw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Edmond Kint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, KV Moerbeke's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Depauw came free, but Edmond Kint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Roger Depauw did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Edmond Kint 53 minutes into the match. In the 56th match minute, Pervijze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Depauw to maneuver through the defense. Roger Depauw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Kint having to interfere. The long shot by Binjamin Ivens in the 63rd minute really tested Edmond Kint's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Carlos Van Gorpt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gert Matthieu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roel Cuelens, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 68 played minutes Pervijze got a freekick which was hit by Karel-Jan Ronsman. In the 69th minute of the match Joannes Sulems shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gert Matthieu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 70th match minute, KV Moerbeke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renaud Van Gertsuyden to maneuver through the defense.
