Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lennart Devaux in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremey Cuppens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Thierry Kerstens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andries Franckx was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Andries Franckx fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Vaul-Chavanne's protests and gave Andries Franckx a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SK Vaul-Chavanne getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Andries Franckx hit a great ball. Jeremey Cuppens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Tuytgans in the 34th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lennart Devaux made a kick off. Lennart Devaux who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Jeremey Cuppens when he managed to save the team from getting behind. SK Graty's Peter-Jan De Bruyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andries Franckx in the 73rd minute of play. Albert Tuytgans hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SK Graty's zone, Stephen De Raeijmaeker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter-Jan De Bruyn came out of the goal and Stephen De Raeijmaeker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walter Fierens kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes in the game, Lennart Devaux fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jeremey Cuppens having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andries Franckx in the 89th minute of play forced SK Graty's goalkeeper Peter-Jan De Bruyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thierry Kerstens hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
