Spectators: 7339 (Terracing: 5615, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guido Engelborghs started the match with the kick off. Ernest Goos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alphonse Smeulders. Albert Tuytgans's late challenge caught a SK Zevergem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Tuytgans helped the player get up and apologised. Albert Tuytgans hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, SK Zevergem's goalkeeper Ernest Goos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lennart Devaux. Ernest Goos made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Lennart Devaux sent off a good shot on target. If Gert-Jan Van Bael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Binjamin Schol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Peter-Jan De Bruyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gert-Jan Van Bael came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the SK Zevergem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gert-Jan Van Bael couldn't finish the play. Peter-Jan De Bruyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gert-Jan Van Bael in the 24th minute of play. Gert-Jan Van Bael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 played minutes Guido Engelborghs rounded SK Zevergem's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Guido Engelborghs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gert-Jan Van Bael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter-Jan De Bruyn having to interfere. Binjamin Schol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Binjamin Schol made a kick off. Lennart Devaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Guido Engelborghs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernest Goos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Devaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Binjamin Schol managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Zevergem's supporters rose to their feet, but Binjamin Schol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter-Jan De Bruyn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gert-Jan Van Bael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Peter-Jan De Bruyn made a huge save. Peter-Jan De Bruyn made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Gert-Jan Van Bael sent off a good shot on target. If Lennart Devaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, one of SK Zevergem:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 80 played minutes SK Graty got a freekick which was hit by Walter Fierens. Gert-Jan Van Bael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lennart Devaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ernest Goos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SK Graty booed when SK Zevergem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cederik De Custer didn't get a good kick on the ball. SK Graty were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SK Zevergem for a fine match.
